Remote Learning

Remote learning at St George's

At St George's, we are proud to offer a full curriculum remotely which mirrors the curriculum taught in school. We aim to provide the best education for all of our pupils and strive to continue our extensive curriculum throughout lock down and isolation periods to ensure our pupils continue to make sustained progress.

All pupils will have two live lessons a day (morning and afternoon) to register attendance, gain an overview of the day's learning, learn new teaching concepts, revisit previous learning and gain valuable feedback on their work. Children also have the opportunity to catch up with their peers and class teachers to support their emotional well-being.

In school, we have specific members of staff who make up our Remote Learning Team, and they oversee all the remote learning provisions in place. They are Mrs Snowdon-Poole, Mrs Campbell, Miss Walker and Mr Hanif.

Please see our Remote Learning Policy for the full details of our curriculum.
